Fenko Security

Fenko for Non-profit and Health

Discounted security testing for organisations whose data matters more than their budget.

Why we do this

Some organisations hold data that matters far more than their budget does. A community health provider with patient records. A patient support charity with a case management system nobody has looked at since it was installed. A social service running a donor database on a platform chosen in 2016 because it was free.

The breach cost for these organisations is measured in people, not revenue. The security budget is usually whatever is left after the actual mission is funded, which is nothing. That gap is the reason attackers keep finding them, and it is the reason we discount this work.

Who qualifies

Registered New Zealand charities and non-profit organisations.

Healthcare and health-related organisations, whether or not they are a charity. Clinics, allied health providers, health tech companies handling patient data, DHB-adjacent services, medical research groups. If you hold health information, you are in.

If you sit somewhere near the line, ask. We would rather have the conversation than have you assume the answer is no.

What the discount covers

Penetration testing through Foxhound, AI security reviews, architecture and threat modelling, and the rest of our consulting work.

The discount comes off the price, not off the work. Same testers, same evidence standard, same report, same retesting window. A reduced rate does not buy you a lighter version of the engagement.

What it does not change

We will still tell you what we find, including the findings that are awkward. We will still say no if we are the wrong people for the problem, and point you at someone better suited.

We will also tell you when a smaller piece of work would serve you better than the one you asked about. That happens more often on a tight budget than a loose one, and taking your money for the bigger engagement anyway would be a poor way to start.

Getting started

Use the contact form. Tell us roughly what you run, what you are worried about, and whether you have a deadline driving it (a funder requirement, a contract clause, an audit).

Scoping costs nothing. You will get a rate and a scope in writing before anything starts, and if the answer is that you do not need us yet, we will say that instead.
